My daughter had been suffering for MRSA for over 3 years. Her last admisson to the hospital involved re-opening and draining a Mrsa wound on her right ankle. I know there have been other postings about manuka honey, however thought many readers would be interested in this new development. One particular specialist product - Manukacare (from Comvita) - which is a medical grade, sterilised manuka honey, has now gained a UK medical devices license and is now able to make a claim for reducing the risk of infection from bacteria including MRSA!
