Maggots to tackle MRSA bug Started by Bill Posted: September 2, 2005 at 01:18 I found the following article interesting. There was a symposium in Germany last year that included phage therapy and maggot therapy ( http://www.biotherapie.org/symposium_details.pdf ) to cure antibiotic-resistant superbug infections - it is my opinion that phage therapy is more based in science and in my opinon more effective. MRSA Started by Julie Lea Posted: September 1, 2005 at 15:39 Those of you that read this, I have help for you. I have been diagnosed with MRSA for a year now. For the first 8 months, I was constantly on antibiotics. As we all no the expense is unbelievable, not to mention the ill effects antibiotics have on your body's immune and digestive systems. Approximately 4 months ago I was introduced to a man that happens to be in the Probiotics field. Feeling that I had nothing to lose I began taking his product,which consists of live bacteria (Lactobacillus Sparogenes). To make a long story short, I have not been on any antibiotics since I started taking this product. Not only is it much cheaper than antibiotics, but it is beneficial to your body. It builds your immune system,which is what we need to fight off this MRSA bacteria. Essentially we are fighting bacteria with bacteria. It works. I am living breathing proof. Please tell me the truth are our health workers really not washing their hands?..........Basic training surely......MRSA and other hospital BUGS are bigger than that.................If our health system has broken down to that extent then try the European courts!!!....... |
