HA-MRSA in Bladder. Now Bladder Cancer

November 2007 after having hernia repair surgery. I was diagnosed with HA-MRSA in my bladder and in my incision. Now almost 4 years later I have been diagnosed with Invasive Bladder Cancer.
Now my question is could MRSA in my bladder have caused my normal body cells to become abnormal cells?

Dear Cheryl B , im sorry i cant answer your question , as i have not been trained in the medical field to confirm . i could search the net but ...... there is a lot of information out there that should not be took as (fact) as you will probably know . we do have some of the medical field lookng in from time to time and they do indeed answer questions but , and a big but , we dont know if they are "fully" trained in the field so to speak . i see you have already posted the same question on the USA/Canada forum , as i just checked there as i would have gave you the link . please do let us know how you get on Cheryl.............. my best wishes to you .
