MRSA in my sinuses???

Hi everyone, I'll make my long story short. I'm in my early 30's and have suffered with allergies/chronic sinusitis my whole life. I had balloon sinus surgery on June 25h, which went well. A few days post-op, my ENT told me that they cultured a "mass" (basically, a big blob of snot) from my maxillary sinus, which was "staph". He didn't SAY MRSA. I was already on routine post-op Augmentin.

After I completed the AUgmentin, a felt great for a few days and then started to develop an infection. Went back to ENT, he cultured both nasal passages and put me on Avelox for ten days. He told me that I may be "colonized", and the next step would be nebulized antibiotics. I see him monday to find out what the culture said.

Would he have told me that the original culture was MRSA staph? Could I have gotten MRSA during the surgery? I am sooos scared, but I really feel that this is MRSA. HELP!
