VRE

Hi, My father has contracted this infection after having contracted MRSA in hospital. I would welcome any replies on this and in particular the after effects. He has been in hospital for 8 weeks now and the VRE infection almost took his life and now he is so weak he cannot stand up on his own. MRSA Action UK having been very supportive and helpfull. Dear Gordon , soooooo sorry to hear this about your father , may i ask whereabouts did he first have mrsa ? im sure it has been a very worrying time for you Gordon . may i ask what offers of help you are looking for Gordon, Mrsa Action UK are one of the leading charities here in the UK & im sure you'v recieved good information/help and also support from them . is there anything in particular you wish to find out ie; building immune system up for instance ? or just someone to be there to listen ? i came here many years ago myself Gordon & found the support from the people at that time supporting the public like you & i a great help ( they got me through it ) although you would not think it now as they rarley come on . . but i believe in karma ..........what was given to me , i know give back . if i can help you in anyway Gordon i will . 24120
