Joint pain and MRSA

I work in a hospital and contracted MRSA in October this was treated and I thought everything was fine, early December I got a really painful finger I just thought it was the cold weather and maybe a bit of Arthritis, however since then the joint pain has got progressively worse and affecting every joint in my body some days I can barely walk I am wondering if this is related to the MRSA as I had nothing like this prior to contracting MRSA,it all started wthin weeks of that,I have never had any joint pain before,I'm worried that the MRSA may be in my bloodstream and this is what is causing the severe joint pain.

Dear Issy , sorry to hear you are poorly , may i ask whereabouts you contracted mrsa ? did you have a cut on your finger prior to it becoming sore ? i think if you had mrsa in your bloodstream issy you would be very ill indeed , matter of fact gravely ill . please get back and let us know a little more information , re the questions i have asked my best wishes .

Hi Linda and Ruth
Thank you both for your input
I have no idea really how I caught it,it may well have been a cut in my finger as I often get paper cuts at work but don't pay much attention to them,I work within the wards where many patients have MRSA,I have had bloods done and they all came back normal,I'm just trying to find an explanation for this sudden onset of inflammed swollen joints I had nothing like this prior to contracting MRSA,I got MRSA in October and the swollen painful joints started in early December.... when I told my Bosses at work about this they said I could have caught MRSA in Tesco thats the flippant attitude they have towards it,law of averages say I caught it at work where it's rife!! not Tesco.

Ruth
May I ask what tests you had done for it to be found in your bloodstream,as all I've had done so far is basic blood work which all came back normal.

I had a Full Blood Count done as well as CRP,Urate and ERP all came back normal... but my Rheumatios Factor was Positive my GP said that didn't have to mean I had Rheumatoid Arthritis,I just feel that it's all happened too fast to be that anyway,it's just been since the MRSA ....

Dear Issy, it's terrible to feel poorly and have no diagnoses on the cause , i would be persistent issy with your GP on getting properly diagnosed . did your GP explain why the Rheumatios Factor did not mean you nessesary had Rheumatiod Arthritis ? keep going back issy to your GP if you are still feeling poorly and dont be fobbed off my best wishes .

Many of the vaccines have biowar mycoplasama in them.

I was in the hospital I tested positve for MRSA. From the internet I found mrsa like lyme is a coinfection of mycoplasma, bacteria and retrovirus. Lyme is biowar.

The mycoplasma causes the joint pain. A cpr test would confirm mycoplasma. Google Dr. Gart Nicholson he is the foremost US expert in mrsa, lyme, cfs, gulf war.

Anyway the same treatment that works for lyme worka for mrsa.

doxycyclene and rifampin - 1 year

lactobacillus - for gut 1 year, in yogurt or pills

chlorhexidine - topical wash for skin lesions, (works by membrane disruption, both gram positive and gram negative)

Violeta De Gencianan - makes lesions dry up scab over takes a few weeks

alkalinize body - 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 times a day - get ph test from health food store

alkaline diet - 40% vegs, 40% fruit, 20% meat and carbs, drink lots of green tea and herbal teas. No coffee, sugar, alcohol, chocolate

build immune system - vitamins - a, b, c, d, e. minerals - zinc, magnesium, calcium, potassium, selenium, cesium. Omega fatty acid - fish oil, flax oil

exercise - to get oxygen in body

Natural Remedies - Antibiotics found in plants which can be effective with fewer side effects or negative impact on the body.
Colloidal Silver - anti-virus, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory
Turmeric - anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant
Olive Leaf Extract - anti-mycoplasma, anti-viral, anti-retrovirus, anti-bacterial, anti-mycoplasma
Echinacea - are known as polysaccharides, antibiotic, immune stimulant, Antiviral, god for herpes, boils and abcesses
Elecampane - (works like Rifampin) antimycobacterial deep penetration
Grape Seed Extract - anti-cancer, anti-tumor, antioxidant, kills mycoplasma
Oregano Oil - anti-viral, anti-fungal
Urva Ursi - antimicrobial
Neem - antihelmintic, antifungal, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antiviral
Gentian Violet - skin lessions, anti-mycoplasma, antibacterial
CoQ10 - joint pain, muscle stiffness, enhances cellular energy, works on ATP in mitochondria, causes appetite loss, stimulates the immune system
St. John's Wort - effective on retrovirus, antiviral
Sambucol (Elderberry) - effective on retrovirus
Pau D'Arco - useful against fungal and parasitic infection
Vicks - stiff neck, campor and eccyliptus

Id say exactly the same - and for the most part nonsensical.

I dont think mycoplasma has anything to do with MRSA. at all.

Could you please pick one name and stick to it barbi/sid/ruth?

Callie/linda/mccafferty why don't you contribute something positive about what MRSA is and how to cure it.

I would be very interested to know any thing that would help me heal faster.

nonsensical? in the course of proving me wrong you might learn something.

Thanks Linda for letting me know I was a tad confused by that...but no problem!
I am still trying to find out why my Joints are swelling and painful,I really won't be any further forward until I see the Rheumatologist who hopefully can tell me if this is the problem or if in fact it is a result of the MRSA I contracted in Ocyober at work! .... I will come back when I have more to tell ...
Thank You to everyone who responded to me on here I appreciate it very much.

Hi Issy - sorry for my outburst on your thread earlier!

Where on your body did you get MRSA? Was it in a wound?

Hi Callie
Don't worry things can get a bit tense a times and I understand completely,I first discovered I had MRSA when out of the blue an old appendix scar opened up very slightly I went to A/E while at work and they had no idea why this should happen but dressed it and took a swab from it as a precaution to make sure there was no infection there, the swab came back Positive for MRSA it was treated and I was too with anti-biotics and body washes etc it cleared up and all was well again, that was in October, early early December I suddenly got a very painful swollen index finger and has got pregressively worse since then now in February it's in another 3 fingers my toes knees and elbows all swollen and painful,I've been referred to a Rheumatologist who I haven't seen yet,I'm just not convinced the whole thing isn't connected with the MRSA as it all happened very quickly after having MRSA .... I am reluctant to return to work in the Hospital environment where there is a lot of MRSA particularly in the area I work whereby I am in the actual Wards a lot until I know for sure there is no connection.

I was diagnosed w/ MRSA and am now worried that it is in my knee joint. I have been on antibiotics for seven days w/ no relief. It is still very painful and swollen. I believe I need to go back to the doctor and see what's my next step.

Hi Kerri
How and where did you contract the MRSA? and how did you discover you had it .... I contracted mine from workin in a Hospital hereby MRSA was rife and my joint pain only started after the MRSA I am presently waiting to see a Rheumatologist to see if that is my problem, none of the professional people in the Medical field I have spoken to about a possible connection with the MRSA are convinced of a connection yet I have read on here of many people who are experiencing the same symptoms I am following being infected by MRSA so i wonder why Doctors say it is very unlikely there is any connection.... it is all becoming very confusing to me now.
